Since my families house is for sale, i've had to leave twice today for people to come look at it. Its a great excuse to go for a drive. I got lost for about an hour since i dont use a gps or maps (thats cheating). Its odd though considering i didnt realize how many unknown roads there still are around me.
Also, im pretty sure this stretch was at least a quarter mile... or more... tehehe

Getting lost is the best way to find your way about.

Very true. I just hate when i end up on dirt/gravel roads i dont know about, which oddly enough are still common in my area.

Sadly, most people don't share this mindset. I love whenever I get lost and I have a friend or family member with me, they'll get insanely freaked out. As if a wrong turn is the end of the world.
"YOU MISSED THE TURN! WTH MAN!!!"
"Hey, chill out. Think of it as a way to learn a new road."
"WTF DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!? YOU MISSED THE FUCKING TURN!!! HOLY DICK! Oh, hey, a Sbarro!"

Unless you have some sort of a time constraint (like hey, I need to get to the airport asap) I prefer to take the Zac Brown point of view; I aint in no hurry today.

True. Fortunately, I'm never really in those situations. So it's really just passengers losing their minds for no reason. Comedy.

Lol. Thats one of my few pet peeves when driving. Im usually pretty passive with passengers. Screaming babies, a cakewalk. People wanna blow my speakers out with dubstep, go for it. But yelling at me for passing the turn, thats the line! Its like we committed murder or something haha.

If I've got the time, I love getting lost and discovering new roads and routes. Every time I move to a new area, I spend lots of time driving around. Before long, I usually know my way around better than people who've lived there for years.
